Hello and welcome to The Music Marketer, your regular bite-sized resource for ideas, observations, strategies and tactics in music marketing.

I’m Dylan Moss, by day a Director in a leading UK Media Planning and Buying Agency. With 25 years experience, I help brands large and small to spend their advertising budgets wisely across the media landscape. By night I’m a musician who plays guitar and has written, recorded and produced music through my dim-and-distant past.

So, what better thing to do than smash together my professional expertise with my passion to create The Music Marketer. The newsletter is created for music artists, bands, producers, DJs and anyone involved in the marketing of music across digital platforms.

My aim is to help music artists grow a dedicated fanbase through the effective application of digitally focussed marketing and advertising. The newsletter will look to provide industry insights, tips and tricks and a host of tactics artists can apply to their own marketing efforts.

The Music Marketer is a new and evolving venture. It would be an honour if you would join me for the sonic ride. I welcome any positive suggestions for topics or content that is keeping you awake at night or over which you’re particularly curious.
